Resume is indeed important for job application and interviews as it highlights your strength and the skills you have to offer to the company or interviewers. Before, I used to make resume with plain words where boxes and arrangements has to be done manually. As a perfectionist, I remember finding it hard to keep the words align the way I wanted it to be since Words offers limited usage and function. I never knew that piktochart offers a template for E-resume until Dr. Fariza asks the students to create an E-resume and honestly, comparing to the way I used to make my resume manually, using Piktochart's template is much easier and convenient as decorations, arrangement and other additional desired functions are already prepared. It saves a lot of time and effort trying to create a nice, beautiful yet simple resume that would definitely highlight ones strength clearly. While making this resume, an unexpected thought comes into my mind. It reminds me how rapidly the world is changing right now and we, humans, are moving forward in a very fast pace with the help of technologies. Since the 21st Generation is very tech-savvy, companies and marketings have already stepped up their game and it's no longer about finding the brightest student or future employee, but it's about finding and selecting the best out of the best, an all-rounder student. And this is where E-resume comes in handy as it helps to vibrantly shows our future employers our strength but it also shows our creativity and ability. I also realize that by having E-resume, it helps to promotes our credibility and skills in a much larger platform which is the Internet itself. Plus, the competition nowadays is much higher compared to the previous years. More people are educated so I have to stand out from the rest in order to be noticed out of thousands of bright students there are in Malaysia. I think E-resume will help me to stand out more since it not only promotes my strength, it also shows my creativity and skills in using softwares online. Down here is the resume I create using Piktochart
