ABOUT ME |
Aimi Hazwani
Aimi was born and raised in Muar, Johor. She was the second child out of her four siblings. Choosing to stray away from her parents' footsteps, she took a 180 degree turn and chose to pursue her tertiary study in English education. However, after she finished her foundation in Teaching English as Second Language (TESL) in UiTM Dengkil, Aimi was brutally rejected by numerous universities and was marked unqualified to continue her degree in TESL. But God has better plans for her, and now here she is, in University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) doing TESL, better than before.
Aimi claims herself to be an avid-reader and addicted coffee lover who cannot go through her day without a good cup of caffeine in the morning. Her range of reading is endless yet she finds herself steering away from romance-related literary materials. Chris Carter, an American crime and thriller author is her favourite writer at the moment. When asked about her current interest, Aimi said that recently she's really into asian entertainment industry as well as the infamous anime of the otaku world.
Despite suffering from allergies, Aimi is surprisingly an ailurophile and right now, she is the owner to 17 cats and counting. She said that she is captivated by their mysterious demeanour and character, resulting to her falling in love with these fur balls. It's only when she was eighteen she realized that she too suffers from a rare yet not alarming skin disease called Dermatographia, also known as 'skin writing'. She also keeps her hands off seafood, particularly prawns and crabs as it causes itchiness to every patch of skin on her body. Nevertheless, during her reckless moment, Aimi said she'll gobble up a few pills and just bluntly eat them despite the itchiness that she knows will be eating her up a few minutes later.
